Cancer Services Directory
This first edition of the Cancer Services Directory for Peel and Area has been compiled to help people living with cancer to access assessment, treatment, and supportive care services in Peel and the surrounding area. It includes a wide range of services, and is categorized into 26 sections.
This directory has been produced by The Credit Valley Hospital, in partnership with the Oncology Broad-Based Committee of the Peel District Health Council Regional Program Planning Committee. As the designated host site of the Peel Community Cancer Centre, The Credit Valley Hospital has a strong commitment to helping those living with cancer to connect with agencies and services which aid not only in fulfilling physical needs, but also in promoting emotional and spiritual wellness.
By requesting that all service providers listed submit information on their own behalf for this directory, the utmost care has been taken to ensure accuracy of this information. We have also made great efforts to ensure this directory provides an exhaustive list of services. However, we would appreciate your feedback and suggestions if you discover any errors or omissions while using this resource. Your input will be welcomed by The Credit Valley Hospital's Community Relations & Communications Department by mail at 2200 Eglinton Ave. W., Mississauga, Ontario, L5M 2N1, by telephone at (905) 813-2617 or by e-mail at prcvh@cvh.on.ca.
We realize that those living with cancer have a range of special support needs, and hope that the information provided by this directory will be effective in directing them to the services they require.
