Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses
Executive Contracts
The public disclosure of expenses relating to travel, meals and hospitality helps us to meet our commitment to accountability and transparency and is a requirement of the Ontario Government's Broader Public Sector Accountability Act (BPSAA) Bill 122.
As required by BPSAA, Credit Valley Hospital's rules and principles governing expense claims are publically posted as of April 1, 2011, and the reporting of senior management expenses publically posted as of November 30, 2011.
As employees of a public institution which aims to use its resources as effectively as possible, staff and physicians at Credit Valley Hospital are expected to exercise discretion and care while incurring travel, meals and hospitality expenses.
As part of our accountability to our public, and to further promote public confidence in our management of public funds, we are acting proactively to disclose the contract of our CEOs.
