September	The Emergency Department introduces "Ambulatory Track", a service whereby patients with both urgent and non-urgent problems are treated in a parallel manner in the Emergency and Ambulatory Care Department.
October	Initiation of "Quality Assurance Employee Recognition Programme" to be awarded quarterly. HCPRA - Second Place for Excellence in Health Care Communications - Film/Video - Promotional, "A Gift of Time". HCRPA - Second Place for Excellence in Health Care Communications - Film/Video - Educational, "Occupational Therapy".
