January	Club 2200 (a Social and Recreational Club) founded.
August	Some 140 initial staff move into The Credit Valley Hospital.
October	Completion of Hospital construction.
November	November 5 Arrival of first outpatient, Kori Kozier, and first inpatient, three year old Jonathan Rose. First born: Stephen Grigoropoulos.
December	Commissioning of Hospital completed.
